Kim is a fun loving, authentic and compassionate inner healing coach. Kim specializes in inner healing for Christian women who have experienced trauma. Her passion is coming alongside women who struggle with anxiety, fear, and negative thoughts from unreleased trauma. Kim draws on her education, training and experience to support women with a variety of tools to empower them to grow in curiosity and find rest in the Lord. She is committed to working with women who are ready to take their healing to the next level.
Kim has been supporting women in her church for over 10 years mentoring, leading support groups and studies for trauma and addiction. Kim’s passion for women allowed her to never give up on her own healing journey. Kim felt a calling on her heart to encourage and support women but she knew her heart needed to be healed first. After many years of therapy and attempts to find healing, she found the Set Free Academy where she learned to partner with the Lord to find freedom and healing from her past.
Kim is happily married. She has two adult bonus-children and two grandkids, who she loves spending time with when she gets the chance. Kim loves spending time looking through the lens of her camera. She is energized being outdoors, as this is her happy place where she spends her time with the Lord. Hi, I am Diane Betker. I reside in WNY by the lake with my husband of 32 years and my 22 year old high functioning autistic daughter whom I homeschooled from k-graduation. With the gift of marriage came 4 step children. (3 girls and 1 boy). They are all adults now and I have 6 grandbabies from them. God knows I love children!
I believe with all my heart that God works everything for good, everything! I have experienced it. God had rescued me out of my childhood occult where I suffered many forms of abuse. He revealed the truth of a highly controlling church I had been a part of for 30 yrs and He gave me the strength to walk away.
This brought me to SFA. Even Though part of me believed God revealed the truth to me I didn’t know what to believe and came in with the belief God didn’t love me and I must have failed Him with my life because I was unable to live up to scripture. I tried and tried and felt like I failed. I felt so distant from Him.
Set Free Academy has been a journey of discovery and the first one was this: “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38-39 NKJV
The revelation of this scripture that I’ve heard for over 30 years came alive within. And His love began to heal the depth of my soul and every shattered part, piece by piece. I’ve learned my emotions aren’t bad so I can bring them to the Lord. I get to choose to come into agreement with His word. I get to be curious and compassionate towards myself as we are always moving forward and deeper with Him, learning and growing. There are so many exciting things that one discovers through SFA that brings such depth of healing I have never received anywhere else.
I chose to become a Set Free Coach because my heart desires for other women to experience this healing which only His love can bring. Set Free Academy teaches the how, and I love supporting women as they learn how, one step at a time. Many women don’t know how to do that and feel stuck. I feel supporting women and seeing them partner with the Lord and break free piece by piece is such an honor the Lord has given me. I look forward to meeting you and walking this journey with you. Not too long ago, I was struggling with my new reality of being a widow and all the grief, trauma and inner childhood hurt that brought forward. Through SFA, God has delicately led me through layer upon layer of healing. I continue to grow, learn and heal with surrendered trust and faith in His timing.
I am proudly a mother of 4 amazing adult daughters, 4 sons in love and 7 grandchildren. I live mostly in Van Alstyne, Texas and part time in Corona, California with my family. The Lord has blessed me with a family that is loving and supportive. My time with SFA has built in me a strong desire to align with God and BE instead of DO, which has positively impacted my relationships. (I am a RECOVERING people pleaser and control freak… thank you Lord!)
Before SFA, I was a teacher for 36 years. My last 12 years were in the field of Special Education working mostly among students with anxiety, ADHD and dyslexia. I have mentored and coached throughout my career. I am now happily retired !☺️ Recently, I earned my certification as an SFA coach and am excited to join the SFA coaching team to walk alongside you all in your healing journey. 🥰

Nancy became a Set Free Method Certified Coach because she has a passion to help other Christian women be set free of trauma and experience freedom. She knows by experience how the Lord uses these powerful tools to bring healing and transformation to all aspects of life. As a Set Free Coach, Nancy is committed to helping each woman work with the Lord to receive healing and breakthrough from the head to the heart. Her compassionate, gentle, caring, trusting nature allows an ease of communication and a safe place for the miraculous healing journey with the Lord.
Nancy began her journey here when she was pursuing a deeper, more intimate relationship with the Lord. In searching for help to heal her broken heart mentally, emotionally, and physically, the Lord lovingly directed Nancy to The Set Free Academy. My name is Chris Elders and I am from a small town in rural Missouri.
I joined SFA in May of 2023 after seeing an ad on Facebook that spoke to me. I had spent many years and many dollars looking for a way to heal from the pain and trauma in my life to no avail.
The Set Free Academy has changed my life. This Program has shown me how to partner with the Lord and heal the years of brokenness that started in my childhood. When I got divorced after 22 years of marriage in 2016, I knew then I wanted to heal myself and help other women heal. Thankfully, the Lord brought me to SFA!
Now I am a Set Free Method Trauma Support Coach helping support other women in their journey so they too can heal from the pain they have endured in the past or are enduring now.

Hi there! My name is Sara Demijohn and am delighted to connect with fellow SFA ladies in pursuit of inner healing and wholeness in Christ. I can attest to the thoroughness of this ministry to equip and walk with the hurting/broken hearted. I came to SFA in search of a safe Christ centered space to receive healing/support and development after multiple moves with my family, transitioning to being a stay at home mother of my 4 children, adoptee related grief/loss, death of loved ones, and healing from a spiritually unhealthy church left me feeling alone, disoriented and broken. I knew I wanted transformation and not more head knowledge. I asked the Lord, is this all there is?! Where are you? And over time He answered again and again. And He still is. 😊
Along with my personal experience of overcoming trauma/pain and developing a closer walk with Him through it. I have 9-10yrs professional counseling experience with youth and families, trauma and attachment focused clinical training, college adoptee student mentoring through a local college counseling center, social work and advocacy work in non-profits, assistant boys soccer coach and served in schools and children’s ministries in many capacities.

Hi! My name is Nicelle Canonigo, and I’m happily married with 4 children (1 boy & 3 girls) ranging from 5-16 years old. I currently reside in Nevada, and I love worshipping the Lord and spending quality time with family and friends, especially doing nature hikes or going to the beach.
I was raised Catholic, but God placed a spiritual hunger inside of me to draw me closer to Him and to the Christian faith, leading to my salvation shortly after my marriage. What led me to the Set Free Academy was my desire to become a better mom to my children, but I ended up getting so much more out of it. I didn’t even know I needed healing at the time, but the Set Free Academy actually helped me move forward in my journey to complete inner healing and freedom by giving me the tools to overcome negative belief systems, allow deep inner healing of emotions, build confidence in myself and in God, and live from a place of rest.

Since then, her passion has been focused on helping widows and single parents with children who need a helping hand. She has seen God provide for her financially and He has healed her physically.

Hi, I’m Lori Giovannini. I live in Indiana and Florida with my husband Lou, a Deacon in the Catholic Church, and we have been married for over 36 years. We are the parents of three adult children. Our marriage and family life, rooted in faith and prayer, have shaped my calling to walk with women in healing and restoration.
I am a Catholic Coach who believes that true healing and freedom come through Jesus Christ. I trust that God works all things for good and that His grace meets us in our brokenness, gently restoring what has been wounded. My faith is nourished through Scripture, prayer, and the sacramental life of the Church, which continually draws me back to Christ’s mercy and love.
For over 30 years, I have served in healing ministry, retreats, and seminars, and for more than 10 years I have coached women through seasons of emotional and spiritual healing. I previously served as the Executive Director of a large Christian women’s nonprofit, and through this work I saw how many faithful women love God deeply yet struggle to experience peace, freedom, or rest in Him.
This desire for deeper healing led me to Set Free Academy. While remaining firmly grounded in my Catholic faith, I found that the Set Free Method offered practical, compassionate tools that support the healing God desires for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. This work helped me better understand how stress and trauma affect our ability to receive grace and how God patiently restores us when we allow Him into those places.
Through this journey, I learned that healing is not about striving for perfection, but about surrender—bringing our wounds honestly to the Lord and allowing Him to work within us. I experienced a deeper capacity to receive God’s love, to bring my emotions to prayer, and to trust His presence even in weakness.
I chose to become a Set Free Method Certified Coach because my heart is to help women—especially women of faith—remove the obstacles that keep them from fully receiving God’s healing love. Set Free Academy teaches the how, and I am honored to walk alongside women as they learn, step by step, to cooperate with God’s grace.

Hi my name is Michele Sears and I live in Rockwall Texas. I am a wife, a mother of three and a Mimi to one cool dude . I started my relationship with the Lord at the age of 10 with no idea what I was doing . Over the years my journey with Jesus has taken many twists and turns. One of those turns was finding the SFA. Hi, I’m Robin—and I’m so glad you’ve found your way to the Set Free Academy. Most women come here because they’re tired—tired of fear, emotional pain, people-pleasing, and never feeling quite enough. They’re longing to break free from the patterns and lies that keep them stuck and finally live in the joy, freedom and peace God promises. That was me too, even though I didn’t fully realize it at the time.
I thought I was coming to the Academy to gain tools to help other women in my ministry, but God gently showed me He wanted to heal me first. He uncovered hidden wounds and emotional triggers I didn’t know were still affecting me. I was enslaved by a fear of rejection, people-pleasing, striving and more. Through the Set Free Method tools and activations, He lovingly invited me into deeper healing, and it changed everything. I began to experience true peace, rest, and confidence in my identity in Him. That healing ignited my desire to help other women experience the same freedom.

Hello! I’m Jennifer Stahlberg. In 2018, a life-changing crisis deepened my relationship with the Lord, bringing buried struggles to light. Though I had been a Christian for years, I realized I wasn’t fully trusting God. Through Set Free Academy, I found healing, embraced my identity in Christ, and stepped into a new level of faith.
I believe healing isn’t just about overcoming the past—it’s about continuously surrendering to God, embracing His grace, and stepping into the abundant life He has promised. Trusting God and walking in His freedom is a daily process—one of growth, surrender, and transformation. I’m still on this journey, growing each day, and I’m available to walk alongside you as you do the same—aligning with the Lord, embracing your true identity, and living boldly in His love.

God has blessed Krista with 4 wonderful children, 2 of them are married, and she has one precious granddaughter. She has been a Christian for over 30 years and believes in salvation by grace through faith.
Krista grew up in what she thought was a “normal” environment, but much later in life she learned that she had been unhealthily conditioned from childhood to please people and regard what others said about her as truth. In the Set Free Academy she learned how to be still and absorb God’s love into her hurting places and to abide in God. Now His love for her flows through her into the lives of others God places in her path!
Some things she has been through include: childhood trauma, betrayal traumas, divorce, loss of both parents, and estranged relationships with her children. She is now grateful for God growing her through all of these in order to draw her closer to Himself. God has brought her freedom by teaching her to live from her identity in Christ in her purpose to comfort and serve other Christian ladies from the comfort that He has given to her.
She is encouraged to now be used as a tool of the LORD, who uses broken vessels to accomplish His work, to glorify Himself! God has called her to validate and support ladies, approximately 30 to 80 years of age, who have been affected by the same things she’s been through, who need encouragement to step into their God-given purpose!
She is passionate about God using her as his tool through life coaching.
Her interests include: reading and studying God’s Word, spending time with her children when possible, going to Biblical life building conferences, digital scrapbooking, gardening, walking, chatting with friends, travelling, cooking healthy meals, decorating her home with beautiful Scriptures.

Hi, I’m Linda Cicio, a resident of sunny South Florida. My greatest blessings are my husband of 30+ years and our growing family of two adult sons, daughter-in-love and sweet granddaughter. I cherish family time and our escapes to mountain vacations. I enjoy a natural and organic approach to food and health. I absolutely love working part-time as a non-profit advocate. Throughout my life, I’ve had rewarding opportunities to work as a teacher, homeschool my own child and others and make a meaningful impact through leadership roles within both children’s and women’s ministries.
Although my childhood involved regular Sunday church attendance, a truly intimate relationship with God didn’t take root until 25 years ago when I felt called to explore a different way of practicing my faith. This transition marked the beginning of a profoundly, personal connection with God, sparking a transformation for myself, my marriage and my family.
I believe hearts can be transformed, minds renewed, and joy found. My journey towards this belief began at Set Free Academy. I arrived physically, emotionally and spiritually weary, often questioning my feelings and reactions. The abundant life Jesus came to give (John 10:10) eluded me. My joy had slipped away.
Through the Academy group calls, modules and one on ones with my SFA coach, I experienced profound revelations and deep soul healings. Looking back now, I realize I had been searching for this most of my life. Heavy burdens that I carried for decades were being lifted. I began to perceive my life and my relationships from God’s perspective. This led to a new posture of rest and releasing my need to control everything. A genuine laughter I hadn’t heard in so long returned and deep peace began to settle within me.
The community within the Set Free Academy is truly special – so sweet and embracing. Experiencing that support, combined with my deep belief in the Set Free Method, led me to become a certified coach. I am passionate about guiding others to discover the same freedom, healing and surrender to God. I wholeheartedly trust in God’s ability to bring wholeness when you give Him your heart, as all true healing comes from Him alone.

Hello! My name is Linda and I live in a small city in rural Alberta, Canada. I am married, have 4 adult children and am the pet mom to 2 very active husky crosses and 1 fearless cat who puts them in their place! I recharge by gardening/working outside and disconnecting into nature where I can get some ‘soul-care’.
I came to the Set Free Academy initially in 2023 to heal from wounds from many areas- from childhood, to relational, to work trauma… to name a few. I was lost and nothing I had tried before had worked for any length of time. Through the SFA, God has taken miraculous steps to heal me and continues to do so. We are all still a work in progress and I don’t believe that will change until we ‘graduate’ to our Heavenly home.
I became a coach initially as a response to God’s leading with no real focus on what I felt called to do, but through this process it has become so much more. As a medical ‘in hospital’ provider and first responder for 38 years, I have experienced a myriad of situations that should have knocked me flat on my back (if not taken me out)…But God!
I now truly feel that whatever the trauma is or where it came from, God is still bigger and “…able to do superabundantly more than all we dare ask or think (hope, dream)…” Eph 3:20. With a listening heart, and a passion to see others touched by God as I have been, I would love to partner with you to see just how far God can and will take you- to fulfill His potential for your life.

Elizabeth Johnson is a devoted wife, mother, and follower of Jesus Christ, living in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She has been joyfully married for 24 years and is the proud mom of three children, ages 20, 16, and 14. For the past 17 years, she has homeschooled all three of her children, gaining deep insight into the challenges and joys of Christian motherhood.
Elizabeth’s journey has not been without hardship. Before attending Set Free Academy, she faced a difficult season marked by anxiety, depression, and emotional exhaustion. Through the transformational work of the Holy Spirit and the support she received at Set Free Academy, Elizabeth experienced profound healing. She discovered the depth of God’s love, learned to fully trust Him, and began walking in renewed freedom and purpose.
As a Christian life coach, Elizabeth is passionate about helping women who feel stuck in anxiety, depression, or past trauma. She also has a heart for supporting mothers of LGBTQ children, offering grace-filled encouragement and hope rooted in the love of Christ.
Her mission is to walk alongside others as they discover that God truly loves them, sees them, and desires abundant life for them.
